Thrift Partner of the Year!

At Arc’s Value Village we realize that it takes a Village. We recently awarded the Pioneer Endicott Building in St. Paul the Arc’s Value Village Thrift Partner of the Year. This award recognizes an organization that has shown exceptional commitment to supporting The Arc Minnesota and Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores through volunteerism and/or donations.
Since 2017, Pioneer Endicott residents have donated an amazing 50,000 pounds of goods to Arc’s Value Village. The building’s residents also helped create a wider network of donors to the stores, introducing their model for creating donation drives to other apartment complexes. Proceeds from sales of donated goods at these stores in St. Paul and Hennepin County support The Arc Minnesota’s programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families across the state.
David Williams, one of building’s residents, accepted the award from Nick Boerum, The Arc Minnesota’s Chief Development Officer, and Kim Keprios, CEO of The Arc Minnesota. In presenting the award, Boerum said, “Your work in creating an opportunity for your residents to donate on-site has created a lasting culture of giving. Thank you for making a big difference for so many individuals and families.”
