Halloween Jar Redux
It’d be difficult to find a craft/DIY/home decorating blog that doesn’t have at least one post on how to reuse the ever-so-humble Mason jar. Here is yet another version: decorating a table for a Halloween party. These jars were found at Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores. By changing the colors shown here, this idea can be used for any season: pastels for spring, silver for winter, bright colors for summer – you get the idea.
Adding color to a clear jar can totally change its function. There are different ways to paint a jar but I have found using Mod Podge (which I can’t believe I know about) mixed with food coloring to be especially easy. Gather these basics to start transforming your jar.
