He’s a Hard Worker & a Volunteer Too!

October is Disabilities Employment Awareness Month, and Arc’s Value Village is proud to employ several people with disabilties at its stores and to have many others who volunteer with us on a regular basis. One outstanding volunteer is Alex Lindblad, who volunteers every Monday, accepting donations at the donor door at Arc’s Value Village Richfield. Alex likes to give back and help out, just like everyone.

His paying job is with the Minneapolis Golf Club. He has worked at the Minneapolis Golf Club since 1991 with support from Opportunity Partners. Alex has been Employee of the Month several times and is a master at many tasks – bussing tables, setting up and cleaning up the employee break room, making popcorn and stocking supplies. “Alex and I are partners,” says Andre, the banquet cook.
